booking terms & Conditions

1. Our booking system is based upon a first-come, first-served basis; the customer that makes a booking deposit first will always receive priority. 
2. It is not possible to inform each customer individually of any change in availability of any date or time. 
3. It is the customer's responsibility to check our on-line calendar at www.thekartingarena.com/calendar to ensure track availability at the time you wish to visit. The calendar is updated regularly and therefore The Karting Arena cannot be held responsible for any customer not being aware of Private Events or closures at our track. 
4. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment. 
5. We reserve the right to ask for a form of ID to confirm age for Birthdays/ Private Events/GPs. 
6. We reserve the right to refuse or reject customers or events on a case to case basis. 
7. If karting has to be suspended due to wet weather or when the track is wet, you are welcome to reschedule your event to a new date at no extra charge, or receive complimentary karting voucher equivalent to the deposit made.
8. Refund Policy:  A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due in order to secure your reservation (applies to Mini GP, Grand Prix, Corporate Event, Birthday Parties). For refund of 50% deposit to be granted, the following BOTH requirements have to be met:

1) Karting unavailable due to wet weather AND

2) Customers are temporary visitors to Singapore (Require proof of documents)

MINIMUM AGE & HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

  • Drivers must be aged 9 years or older and at least 140cm tall

  • ​Drivers must agree to sign an Indemnity Form upon registration.

  • For drivers under 18 years of age, this indemnity must be signed by a parent or guardian.

KART SPEED

  • Proof of a valid driving/bike license will allow you to drive the karts at a 50km/h limit.

  • Without a license, you may only drive at a 30km/h limit.

  • This is in adherence with The BCA No. S343/2011 Amusement Ride Safety Act of Singapore (ACT 6 of 2011). ​

  • Sessions will be run at either 50km/h or 30km/h, we do not allow mixed speed sessions.

DRESS CODE

  • Karters are advised to wear comfortable, fitting clothing. For safety, loose clothing such as dresses, skirts or scarves are not permitted.​

  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn (sandals or crocs are not acceptable).​

  • Hairnets and helmets are provided.

SAFETY

  • Drivers with back or heart problems, pregnant women or those with other medical conditions are not permitted to drive for safety reasons.​

  • Drivers must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs​

  • No smoking is allowed on premises.

  • ​Karting is a non-contact sport. Intentional contact between karts is not allowed.

  • ​Karting will not be available if it is raining or if the track is still wet.

BEAT THE BOSS COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS​

  • Competition runs till March 31st, 2020

  • Prizes can be changed at our discretion

  • Beat the Boss Challenge is only available on 50km/h karts. Drivers must present a valid driver’s license to participate at 50km/h (per BCA regulation No. S343/2011 Amusement Ride Safety Act of Singapore (ACT 6 of 2011) to drive the 50km/h karts.

  • Scores are calculated from a driver's single best lap time of a session. Therefore a maximum of one prize per driver per session can be won.

  • Must be a registered member at The Karting Arena and have a valid profile (check with staff in store if you aren’t sure!)

  • Singapore Grand Prix tickets subject to availability and change at our discretion and cannot be exchanged for monetary value. Only the first driver to beat the 39.111 lap time can claim this prize.

  • Free karting for life* refers to free walk in karting subject to availability, and driver fee for Mini GP and Grand Prix for the as long as The Karting Arena is operational. Corporate rates still apply.

  • Mini GP package prize can be won a maximum time of once per person. Further sessions beating the 39.500 lap time will be the same prize for beating 40.000 seconds.

  • Drivers who achieve the respective target lap times should not tell others which kart they used

  • Prizes not transferrable between persons or redeemable in monetary value.

  • This competition is open to all Singaporean citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents aged 18 and above who

    • (1) have valid and existing licences at the time of posting of the Entry and

    • (2) are not:

      • The Karting Arena staff and employees, and/or the immediate family members of such employees.

 

LEAGUES TERMS AND CONDITIONS​

  • Leagues Series is a championship series of 5 race events over 5 weeks. Participants are expected to attend all 5 race events to ensure a consistent and fair championship for all drivers

  • In the event where a participant cannot attend, it is that participant's responsibility to find a substitute driver for that event, who will compete in their place.

  • Leagues price is $125 per week, for 5 weeks. A refundable $200 deposit is required to secure entry into the championship. This $200 is refunded after completion of the 5 race events. The deposit will be forfeit if a participant does not attend AND does not find a substitute driver for one or more events (see above). 

  • Kart numbers will be assigned at random at the start of each weekly event

  • While every effort is made to ensure karts are as close as possible to each other in terms of performance and lap times, The Karting Arena does not guarantee identical performance across all karts

  • Prizes can be changed at our discretion

  • Singapore Grand Prix tickets subject to availability and change at our discretion and cannot be exchanged for monetary value

  • For Leagues at 50km/h karts. Drivers must present a valid driver’s license to participate at 50km/h (per BCA regulation No. S343/2011 Amusement Ride Safety Act of Singapore (ACT 6 of 2011) to drive the 50km/h karts.

  • We are gauging interest for a second League series at 30 km/h, where no driving license is required. If you are interested, please fill out the form on the Leagues page and indicate the 30 km/h class.

  • This competition is open to all Singaporean citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents aged 18 and above who

        (1) have valid and existing licences at the time of posting of the Entry and

        (2) are not:

        The Karting Arena staff and employees, and/or the immediate family members of such employees.
